Assumption – Judges divide the property acquired during the marital period 50-50 basis if left to them. e.g. 2 yrs marriage. Property earned during those 2 yrs equally divided.
Situations
- Men will marry women who earn equal to the man. Unemployed women will not get married. Love will not be a factor here.

Since any property that the wife brings or is given during marriage becomes stridhan – all gifts given to both parties will be economically valued and both the parties will expect to get equal worth of gifts from the other party or will not give any gift at all.

In the new situation, Household work is definitely better managed in a cost-effective manner by maids, cooks, ayaas rather than wives. These businesses will flourish.

The crime rate related to maids, ayaas etc will increase. People will commit theft, burglary etc when both the couple are out.

Gifts given on each and every occasion will be economically valued and they will not have any emotional value. (imagine, on wife’s b’day husband giving her a ring worth 20K and expecting a return gift of same worth. Funny huh)

Every gift item exchanged on each occasion needs to be legally documented with sign from both parties etc.so that no one can run away with other’s gifts in future. Legal expenses to go up.

None can leave their job, because each one will expect the other person to contribute equally so that equal division of the property division don’t hurt anyone.

You’ve missed a few. The law will soon extend to unmarried couples (as men will no longer wed, but of course, will continue to have sex, as will women). Then it will be Russian roulette, quite literally. Women will simply decide on which man SHE wants by getting pregnant by him. Then she is entitled to what will soon be massive sums of child support (I pay 1300/month for ONE 11-year old boy). She kicks some of that money back to politicians to keep the game going. Men will avoid women of child bearing age or simply demand no children in their union with women. Of course, if a woman changes her mind and has a child (simply stops using birth control), the man is at her mercy. Essentially from every angle, the man is at the woman’s mercy as all these laws are written completely from a woman’s interests and point of view. Men’s respect for women begins to fail, women make ever greater and greater demands of men as their education and jobs have made them aware of the river of money, stock options, benefits, etc. available in the corporate world, and hence the greater world; women become more greedy, selfish, and demanding. Children learn mom makes the rules and dad follows, fearful of the courts and a divorce sure to wipe him out while leaving her the children and all the financial leverage for further legal action. Male suicide spikes, boys underachieve compared to girls in school, the feminist agenda takes hold and soon a matriarchy takes shape. Ironically, women feel worthless, uncourted, unloved, uncherished, unneeded, unaware of their reputation and potential as man-destroyers, turn into sexual playthings of random, confused young men, themselves being physically used and becoming emotionally numb and distant. And it all continues until society begins to disintegrate. Then a kind of renaissance should take hold where man re-discovers God and “conservative,” “moral,” ways. Young people in the States are as I speak welcoming a shift to more traditional ways. But it will get worse before it gets better.

Best explanation given by a guy about IrBM
IrBM = Irretrievable breakdown of marriage. Basically – until now, there were two ways for a girl to get divorce from her husband:
1) She finds fault in you. If you don’t contest, she gets the decree of divorce in her favour. If you contest, she needs to prove her case. Grounds = cruelty, infidelity etc.
2) She talks to you and makes you agree for a mutual consent divorce. Whether or not you are interested, you settle for the divorce to avoid facing DVC or 498a etc etc. If she has already filed those cases, she agrees to drop them or help you get quash [in case of 498a]
If a girl files DVC or 498a senselessly and refuses to settle with you – you could deny her divorce and harass her. This particular strategy helped in settling majority of the DVC and 498a cases – since women are really afraid of getting old. Similarly, if a girl realizes her “mistake” – in the sense that she might not be able to remarry or extort money from you – she would think about coming back after dropping those cases. This made life relatively easily for men after you got AB for 498a.
But, now a woman can get divorced under a new package – if the IrBM bill gets passed. In IrBM, what is required is a separation of 3 years. So – a girl can file 498a and DVC against you and keep extorting money from you. If you don’t give her a mutual divorce with LOT of compensation; she will just wait for 3 years – going around in pubs and partying hard.
After 3 years have passed, she can present to court that “I thought that my husband will realize my mistake and take me back. But he has no sense of regret for his shameful actions. Our marriage has irretrievably broken down.” The court will not only give her a decree of divorce but also a hefty compensation which includes share in your fixed, immmovable and movable assets; and also including a lumpsum that takes into consideration your inheritance or inheritable amount.
What makes IrBM scary is that a girl who filed false cases before is punished by denial of divorce and denial of extortion money right now – but after IrBM, a girl who files false cases against husband is rewarded not only with a divorce but also with a hefty share in your assets, salary etc.
